Phase 2 week 2 overhead day. Focused on circus dumbells, the bane of my existence... went up heavier than ever, had a great time, and learned a lot about myself. Right shoulder is getting stronger than ever so I earned that PR, but my left wasn’t quite strong enough on the heavier attempts. What I did to fix that (and what I try to do with every failure in my life ) was regroup, figure out what the issue was, and then work humbly to fix it. I noticed my left lost stability as I dipped so my buddy suggested trying pauses dips to press. Boy were those tough but I felt like that really helped. Then I did some trap bar pressing and circus dumbbell waiter walks as accessories.
