3 KEY TIPS FOR SUSTAINABLE FAT LOSS 1. DON’T FOCUS ON CHANGING YOUR WHOLE DIET OVERNIGHT. Although it might seems like a good idea, if you’ve previously had bad/reckless eating habits, It’s usually not going to be sustainable. Instead, focus on Lowering food Portions with each meal which helps with consuming fewer calories, which in turn helps puts you in a caloric deficit to lose weight overtime. Also focus on Increasing veggies with every meal, which will help keep you Fuller on fewer calories and help KEEP your Fat loss journey sustainable. 2. FOCUS ON TRAINING TO GET STRONGER, NOT JUST BURNING CALORIES. This is hard for most to understand, but Cardio ALONE is not the answer. TBH, the purpose of cardio really isn’t for burning fat. It’s for your CARDIOvascular/heart health. PLUS, when we lose weight, it’s NOT just fat we’re losing, it’s a combination of fat, muscle, water, etc. So prioritize weight training to get stronger and Prevent muscle loss while cutting. That’s for guys and ladies. Cardio should be treated as ONE Tool in your belt, not THE Main Tool. 3. STOP FOCUSING ON YA DAMN BODYWEIGHT ! 🙃 I get asked about this all the time and I get it... but Seriously, it’s completely irrelevant and will have you stressed out, if you’re ACTUALLY taking the right actions for making progress. Our bodyweight can fluctuate 1%-2% DAILY, so don’t freak out if your weight goes from 187 to 189 the next day, IF you know you’ve been eating in a calorie deficit. You can still weigh yourself, but judge it by weekly progress, NOT daily. For a more reliable way of tracking your progress, use a body tape measurer and track around your waist weekly or Bi-weekly. Baked vegan cheesecake with a crunchy golden base, classic creamy filling and berries! It uses NO vegan cream cheese and can be made gluten and coconut free 👌.
