I honestly don't know what I would do without these beauties in my life, in my everyday health regimen, my morning routine - my skin, hormone and over all energy savoir, adding a bit of that health glow. 2 years strong. Looking back at the feeling of having to hide my face, not being able to talk as confidently as I could because of my skin. Coming back from travels completely broken out and using foundation as my safe haven ( thankful for makeup for making me feel a bit better but non sustainable ). Looking back at how imbalanced my hormones, energy, skin health actually was, I realize how important its been to start from the inside out... No matter how many creams I put on my face, or how many times i worked out at the gym - If I didn't learn to take the time to work on my mindset, and what I was putting into my body every day -I'm not sure where i'd be. I adopted a wholefood plantbased diet, and began adding these colourful capsules into my life - because sometimes even eating as many fruits and veggies under the sun, you don't really know where they come from or what's it been sprayed with, manipulated to look picture perfect on the shelves. That's where these come in, I take these everyday because I know it's hard to eat 7-13 servings of F&V everyday as recommended. Plus being 33 fruit veg and berries, picked at the peak of ripeness, tested numerous times for any bacteria ,molds, pesticides and then some. Im obsessed with preventative health. Nope! This is one of the biggest lies we are fed by nearly all doctors, nutritionists, weight loss programs, and trainers. Except it isn’t founded on trustable science. What’s worse is it leaves you thinking that weight gain is your fault, trainers default to saying that you didn’t try hard enough, if only you had more self control. Wrong! It’s not your fault and better yet, the path to easy weight loss doesn’t even kind of require you to starve yourself. (This isn’t just hypothesis either, I NEVER have my clients maintain a calorie deficit and they lose weight fast. One on One time with Me!🧡Today has been a beautiful day! I took the entire day off for some self love and care. I even curled my hair. The last time I did that was pre pandemic😂. I loaded up a lunch and headed up AF canyon where I was able to get out and think a little. It’s amazing what wonders occur when you have quiet time to ponder and think about those things that you push aside because of life and crazy. After my adventure in the canyon, I of course headed straight to get a pedi and Mani😉. Some things that I have learned about myself today. I am capable, I am way stronger than I give myself credit for. I became hyper aware of what my body looked like and what I wanted it to look like. Welcome to cold and flu season! Now is the time to really tend to your immune system with love and care- food, meditation, sleep, and exercise Antibiotics are for bacterial infections. Not viral. They will not relieve, shorten or improve a viral infection. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ About 85% of all upper respiratory infections are caused by viruses - this includes the common cold, flu, acute sinus infections, bronchitis and ear infections.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The other 15 % such as strep throat, whooping cough, chronic sinus infections and some ear infections are bacterial.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In fact, according to recent studies, antibiotics are prescribed inappropriately at least 50% of the time!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The problem is, we are impatient. #week35 This year is flying by!! I can't believe today is the last day of September already! I only have 303.69 miles to go to complete 1000 miles this year! 🤯😱🤯😱 . I'm getting closer to my goals! Yahoo! . Never be intimidated by your own goals. . For those that don't know, each year I set fitness goals. The past few challenges were about how many times I'd exercise in a year. Like 240 workouts in 365 days (fail ) haha.😂😂 The next year 300 workouts in 365 days - success!!! Then it was 100 workouts in 100 days. Success! So do small or big challenges, but it's important to remember to take it one day at a time or one week at a time. Don't get discouraged. . . For me it's not about the weight, but about mobility and feeling good in my skin. Loving who I am, and loving where everyone else is in their journey. ❤️❤️❤️ . . Ever get sad when you know it’s your last bite? Sounds funny but I’m pretty sure you know what I’m talking about 🤣🥺 so keep reading.. Knowing you’re comfortably full, even a tad too full yet you still can’t put the fork down. Or the pack of cookies, chips or chocolate down. “Just one more”you tell yourself and then boom you feel like a stuffed turkey & are mad at yourself YET AGAIN. “I know I’m full and should stop now. But I DONT WANT TO🥺🥺🥺” (claaaasssic ) Learning to sit with that emotion is key. 🏋🏼♀️💪🏻 Just as we learn to build p̫h̫y̫s̫i̫c̫a̫l̫ muscle to run, exercise ect. We need to learn to build our e̫m̫o̫t̫i̫o̫n̫a̫l̫ muscle. At first the “push-up” seems impossible (still actually does for me lol but you get it ) and then you can do a few of them before it starts to really burn. 🧠 💭 it’s the same with your emotional muscle, you train it and learn to feel that feeling and be ok with it and before you know it you’re fine. It gets easier, your realize it’s just a moment of feeling things you rather not feel (sad or annoyed for not having being able to continue ) yet moments after it passes and you’re actually thankful you didn’t continue until you’re about to explode, like you usually do. ➡️Practice sitting with that emotion with your next meal. Remind yourself that’s it’s a normal reaction, but resisting it will make it difficult to stop. It takes practice to cope with an uncomfortable emotion without reaching for anotherrrrr bite but it’s worth it to stop the cycle of overeating / feeling guilty and bad again.
